CLASSICAL MAT PILATES
Classical Mat Pilates is a precise workout that uses bodyweight on a mat to perform a specific sequence of exercises, closely following the original method developed by Joseph Pilates, also known as "Contrology." It emphasizes the six principles of concentration, centering, control, precision, flow, and breath to challenge the entire body, and it can improve posture, strength, and flexibility.
PILATES STRETCH & STRENGTH FUSION
Pilates Stretch and Strength Fusion is a hybrid workout blending classical Pilates core work with elements from Yoga, Barre, and strength training (weights/bands/etc.) to build lean muscle, improve flexibility, and boost endurance.
PILATES BANDS FUSION
Pilates with resistance bands blends traditional mat work with elastic bands to add variable tension, either increasing challenge for strength/toning or providing assistance for support and alignment, targeting core, glutes, legs, and upper body for a full-body, low-impact workout that improves flexibility, stability, and body awareness, mimicking reformer springs for effective muscle engagement.
PILATES CARDIO CORE FUSION
A Pilates cardio class blends traditional core-strengthening Pilates moves with high-energy, heart-pumping cardio elements like jump boards, HIIT circuits, weights, or dance, offering a low-impact but intense full-body workout that boosts endurance, burns calories, and sculpts muscles, especially the core, legs, and glutes, by keeping you moving with quick transitions and dynamic, often plyometric, exercises.
PILATES HIIT FUSION
Pilates High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) Fusion blends traditional Pilates with fast, heart-pumping bursts of dynamic Pilates-based exercises such as Plie Jacks, Plank variations and more, with shorter recovery periods of slower, controlled Pilates moves for core strength, cardio, and flexibility, resulting in efficient, full-body workout that builds muscle, burns calories, boosts metabolism, and improves endurance without excessive impact.
PILATES REFORMER
A Pilates Reformer is a bed-like exercise machine designed to add adjustable resistance to the traditional Pilates method. Invented by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th century, it was originally created to help bedridden patients rehabilitate during World War I. Today, it is used for full-body workouts that emphasize core strength, flexibility, and postural alignment. Our Pilates Reformer sessions at Transformations must be booked directly with our instructor, Julie Michas, at 229.894.8059. Once you book, please plan to remit your payment with us in person when you arrive for your first session.

YIN YOGA FUSION
Yin Yoga Fusion is a floor-based practice incorporating longer, deeper holds to strengthen and lengthen the body's deep connective tissues in a safe way and a perfect complement to balance for dynamic fitness styles, helping to maintain joint mobility and range of motion at any age. Yin emphasizes relaxation and surrender, encouraging practitioners to let go of tension and find stillness both in body and mind, which is the hardest part. Yin Yoga Fusion is suited for beginners and all levels up to advanced.
HATHA YOGA FUSION
Hatha Yoga Fusion is a foundational yoga style that is breath-centered and adaptable to meet you exactly where you are. Hatha offers space to focus on alignment, body awareness, and intention. Each posture comes with options so you can choose the experience that feels best in your body, making it ideal for all levels including beginners. Build strength, flexibility, and inner calm, incorporating all aspects of mind and body - movement, static holds, breath, and meditation - in a steady, controlled way.
POWER YOGA FUSION
Power Yoga Fusion blends a dynamic flow of Hatha with a power relaxation blend. You will experience a hybrid of yoga from a our instructor, Samatha, who holds a background in extensive dance and kinesiology training for a full body powerhouse.
TOTAL RESISTANCE EXERCISE (TRX) TRAINING
TRX Fundamentals teach you to use adjustable straps (suspension trainer) and your own body weight for a full-body workout, building strength, core stability, balance, and flexibility through foundational movements like squats, pushes, pulls, hinges, lunges, planks, and rotations, with intensity easily adjusted by changing your body's angle.
PIYO
PiYo offers a dynamic, low-impact workout blending the strength training of Pilates, flexibility of Yoga, and elements of cardio conditioning, for a fast-paced, fun, and effective full-body workout that builds muscles, burns calories, and improves balance without joint strain, perfect for various fitness levels.
